Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 October 2026
Afterproof ("we", "us") is an app for documenting work with before & after photos, reports and invoices. It is operated by AppsInfoway Technologies. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
1. Information you create in the app
When you use Afterproof you may enter or capture:
- Jobs, notes, checklists and job details (for example addresses and dates).
- Client details you choose to add, such as name, email and phone number.
- Photos, including the GPS location, date and time stamped on them.
- Your business profile: business name, contact details, logo and signature.
- Reports and invoices generated from that information.
This information is stored on your device. If you create an account and use sync, it is also stored on our servers so it can be backed up and kept in sync across your devices.
2. Account information
An account is optional. If you sign in with email, Apple or Google, we receive your email address and, where provided, your name. Sign in with Apple may share a private relay email instead of your real address.
3. Location
With your permission ("While Using the App"), Afterproof reads your location to fill in job addresses and to stamp photos. We do not track your location in the background. You can turn location off in your device settings; the app keeps working without GPS stamps.
4. Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple shares subscription status with us (for example, whether a subscription is active) so we can unlock Pro features on your account.
5. Analytics, diagnostics and notifications
We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how features are used and to fix problems. This data is not used for advertising. If you allow notifications, we store a device token to send reminders and job updates; you can turn notifications off at any time.
6. This website
If you accept analytics cookies on afterproof.co, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful — for example, how many visitors open a guide or tap the App Store button. IP addresses are anonymised and we don't use advertising features. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.
7. Service providers
- Cloudflare (R2 storage) — stores synced photos and documents.
- Our hosting provider — runs the sync service and database.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions and push notifications.
- Google — Google Sign-In, Firebase Analytics (app) and Google Analytics (website, with consent).
- Apple Maps — address search and map previews.
8. Sharing
Reports and invoices are only shared when you choose to send them (for example by WhatsApp, email or a share link). Anyone with a share link can view that document, so only send it to people you trust.
9. Retention and deletion
We keep synced data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Data & Account), which removes your account and synced data from our servers, except where we must keep limited records by law. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the UK, EU and US states such as California), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
11. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to our systems is restricted. No service is completely secure, so please keep your device and the app up to date.
12. Children
Afterproof is a business tool and is not intended for children under 13.
13. Changes and contact
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Questions? Email [email protected]. AppsInfoway Technologies.
